Chandrababu Naidu’s arrest is a political vendetta: Mamata Banerjee

West Bengal Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee has termed the arrest of Telugu Desam Party chief Chandrababu Naidu as wrong. Mamata Banerjee said during the press conference that the way Chandrababu Naidu was arrested, I felt wrong. He said this is political vendetta. Political differences exist, but there are limits in democracy. This limit should not be crossed. Today one government is in power, tomorrow if another government comes to power it will also do the same thing. Mamata Banerjee said that if there is any mistake then you should observe and investigate, but nothing should be done with vengeance.

Chandrababu Naidu was arrested while sleeping

Former Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh Chandrababu Naidu was arrested from Nandyal in the early morning of 9 September. There are allegations against him of being involved in the Skill Development Corporation scam. Naidu was arrested while he was sleeping in his special bus equipped with all facilities.

Abhishek is being harassed unnecessarily.

On the summons of ED, Chief Minister and Trinamool leader Mamata Banerjee has once again accused Abhishek Banerjee of ‘political vendetta’. During this time itself he has termed the arrest of Chandrababu Naidu as wrong. Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee said that Abhishek is being harassed all the time. They are being harassed without any reason. There is no evidence. Mamta also said, Abhishek has to run again and again to the lower court, High Court and Supreme Court for the case.
