Champai Soren gave great news to girl students, farmers and IRB jawans, 25 proposals approved in Jharkhand cabinet

Champai Soren’s government has taken a big decision for the students of Jharkhand, farmers and IRB soldiers and personnel who lost their lives in Naxalite and extremist incidents. A total of 25 decisions were approved in the cabinet meeting held at the Jharkhand Ministry under the chairmanship of Chief Minister Champai Soren on Monday (February 12). Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel gave this information.

Cabinet Secretary Vandana Dadel said that the government has decided to give incentive amount to daughters so that they can progress in the field of technical education. At the same time, the cabinet has also decided to waive one percent additional interest to farmers who repay agricultural loans on time. At the same time, important decisions have been taken in the interest of the retirement age of IRB jawans and their dependents if they are killed in Naxalite or militant incidents.

Vandana Dadel said that Jharkhand government will implement Manki Munda Scholarship Scheme to provide technical education to girl students in Jharkhand. Under this, 10th pass girl students studying in technical educational institutions running on government and PPP mode in the state will be given an incentive amount of Rs 15,000 per year. He told that the government will give an incentive amount of Rs 30 thousand every year to the girl students doing B.Tech course.

The condition laid down in this is that the beneficiary girl students will have to pass with 50 percent marks. After passing they will get this amount. All girl students will get the benefit of Manki Munda Scholarship Scheme. The Cabinet Secretary said that this decision has been taken so that girl students come forward in the field of engineering. Told that at present the ratio of students to students in technical educational institutions in Jharkhand is 6:1. He told that as per the current situation, 3,000 girl students in Diploma will get benefit from it, while 1200 girl students in B.Tech will get benefit from it.

The Cabinet Secretary also informed that the dependents of IRB jawans and personnel killed in Naxalite and militant incidents will be paid equal to their remaining service period. Let us tell you that earlier it was not decided what was the retirement age of the soldiers and personnel working in IRB. It has been made clear in this decision that the retirement age will be 60 years.

Champai Soren’s government has also taken a big decision for the farmers. The Cabinet Secretary has told that in the year 2017-18, the Council of Ministers had fixed the amount of rebate on interest subsidy on agricultural loans to farmers at 3 percent. In today’s meeting it has been decided to increase it to 4 percent. Rs 25 crore has been sanctioned for interest subsidy to farmers in the financial year 2023-24. Told that if the farmers return the loan amount within the time limit of one year, till now they were getting 3 percent interest subsidy, now the government will give them 4 percent interest subsidy. That means the state government will give them a rebate of up to 4 percent in interest.
