The story of this film is of Kaala (Paramveer Singh Cheema). Who is living with his uncle in Canada. He considers his uncle as his father, besides he is also unaware of the fact that his parents were murdered in India during his childhood. The situation becomes such that the Canadian police goes after Kala. With the help of Donkey, he comes to India from Canada to get rid of the Canadian police and here he comes to know his truth. Kala has inherited music. He always wants to become a famous singer, he uses his talent as a means to reach his father’s murderers. He searches for the murderer, be it a friend, a terrorist or an honor killing, but this is not going to be easy, Kala can go to any extent to reach his father’s murderers. Can deceive anyone. Can break someone’s heart. This journey of Kaala has been depicted in the first part of Chamak. The story is still pending my friends, it has been left for the second season.

The theme of the story is dark, but an attempt has been made to keep the mood light through the fun and jokes of the characters. The story moves slowly in the beginning, but picks up pace from the second episode. The impression of the alpha male is visible in the character of Kala, who is stubborn.

Sukhwinder has once again proved with his acting why he has been called one of the important discoveries of this year. Mukesh Chhabra has played the role of music producer in a very interesting manner. Aksa and Isha Talwar are also established in their roles. Isha has got less screen space, it is expected that she will get more screen space in the second season. Manoj Pahwa and Mohit Mallik also look good in their roles.
