Chaitra Navratri starts from the Pratipada date of Shukla Paksha of Chaitra month, this year the Pratipada date of Chaitra Shukla will start from 11.50 pm on 08th April. Pratipada Tithi will end the next day i.e. 09th April at 08:30 in the evening. Udaya Tithi is considered in Hindu religion, hence Ghatasthapana is on 09th April.

The auspicious time for Ghatasthapana on April 9 is from 06:02 am to 10:16 am, apart from this, Abhijeet Muhurta is from 11:57 am to 12:48 pm. Both these are auspicious times for Ghatasthapana.
This auspicious yoga is being formed
On the first day of Chaitra Navratri, Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga and Amrit Siddhi Yoga are being formed on Pratipada Tithi. On this day, Amrit and Sarvartha Siddhi Yoga are being formed from 07:32 in the morning. Both these yogas are till 05.06 in the evening.

Take a bath early in the morning on Pratipada Tithi and take a resolution to worship.

Then fill the Kalash with water and keep it at the puja post.

After this, wrap the Kalash with Kalava.

Then place mango and Ashoka leaves on top of the Kalash.

Wrap the coconut in a red cloth and place it on top of the Kalash.

After this, invoke Goddess Durga by lighting incense sticks and lamps.
