When is Chaitra Navratri 2024 Navami?

Mahanavami of Chaitra Navratri is on Wednesday, 17 April 2024. On this day, the 9th Shakti of the Goddess, Maa Siddhidatri is worshipped. Chaitra Shukla Navami date will be from 01:23 pm on Tuesday, 16th April 2024 to 03:14 pm on 17th April 2024. On this day, the fast will be broken at the end of Navami Tithi. The auspicious time in the morning on this day is from 05:53 am to 09:07 am. Whereas the afternoon time is from 03:34 pm to 06:48 pm. The auspicious time of night is from 08:11 to 10:57.

Importance of Ashtami-Navmi Tithi of Chaitra Navratri

On the Ashtami and Navami of Chaitra Navratri, the nine-day fast and puja of Navratri is completed by worshiping the goddess, eating kanya and doing havan.
