A young man died after being hit by a goods train on the down line of the Noamundi-Badajamda railway section near Tatra Huting in Noamundi. Three days later, on Friday, the family identified the body in the post-mortem house of Sadar Hospital. The deceased Bhaskar alias Pappu (26) was a resident of Durgapur village under Tarari police station of Bhojpur (Bihar) district. On receiving information about the incident, the deceased’s father Vijendra Singh and relatives from Bihar reached Sadar Hospital. After post mortem the body was taken to his native village in Bihar. Father Vijendra Singh said that on Thursday, Noamundi police station called and informed about the incident. He told that the son had come to Noamundi in search of work. He got married two months ago. According to the information, the young man was going through the railway line with headphones in his ears. Couldn’t hear the horn of the goods train and got hit. He died on the spot.
