CGBSE Board Exams 2024: The registration window for Chhattisgarh Board of Secondary Education (CGBSE) class 10th and 12th board exam 2024 has started from October 10. Students are eligible to register for class 10th and 12th board exams, they can apply by visiting the official website of Chhattisgarh Board, cgbse.nic.in. The last date to apply for Chhattisgarh Board Exam 2024 is 31st October. However, applications with late fees can be submitted till November 30.

When will CGBSE exams be held?

CGBSE is going to conduct class 10th and class 12th examinations for the upcoming year in March 2024. The official schedule of board exams will be made public in December and hall tickets will be released for download in February 2024. The results of CGBSE class 10th and class 12th examinations are expected to be released in May 2024.

How many marks will the exams be for?

On its official website, Chhattisgarh Board has prescribed the syllabus and exam format for class 10th and 12th board exams. The CGBSE board exam format consists of both objective and subjective questions for 100 marks, which includes written examination for 75 marks and internal assessment for 25 marks. Both class 10th and class 12th examinations are conducted for a duration of three hours. Candidates can understand the exam format better by looking at the sample papers and previous year question papers offered by the board.

Last year, 75.05 percent students passed class 10th.

In 2023, CGBSE enrolled a total of 3,37,569 applicants for the Class 10th High School Certificate Examination. Of these, 3,30,681 applicants took the exam and the pass percentage for class 10th students was set at 75.05 percent.

Last year, 79.96 students passed class 12th.

This year 3,28,121 applicants had registered for the Class 12th Higher Secondary School Certificate examination. Overall, 3,23,625 applicants appeared for the exam, taking the class 12 pass percentage to 79.96 percent.

What did Goyal say on negligence in evaluation?

Earlier this year, CGBSE had stopped more than 1,000 state teachers from checking the answer sheets of Class 10 and 12 board exams due to negligence. In a statement, Secretary VK Goyal said that the banned examiners had been negligent in evaluating the answer sheets of class 10th and 12th students.
