The second and final phase of voting in Chhattisgarh will be held on Friday (November 17). On this day, more than 1.63 crore voters will exercise their franchise on the remaining 70 seats of the Assembly. In the second phase, Chief Minister Bhupesh Baghel, Deputy Chief Minister TS Singhdev and eight ministers of the Congress government are contesting the elections. BJP state president Arun Saav is also in the fray. Bhupesh Baghel is contesting elections from Patan. BJP has made his nephew and MP Vijay Baghel its candidate against him. In Chhattisgarh, the main contest is likely to be between Congress and BJP.
