Central government is strict on paper leaks, students will not be targeted; Bill introduced in Parliament

The Union Cabinet had recently approved the Public Examinations (Prevention of Unfair Means) Bill, 2024. After this it was presented in Parliament on Monday. Students will not be targeted in the proposed bill. According to this, provisions for strict action are included against those found involved in organized crime, mafia and collusion. The Bill also proposes a high-level technical committee, which will make recommendations to make the examination process through computers more secure. This will be a central law and it will also cover joint entrance examinations and examinations for admission to central universities.
