CBSE: 10th and 12th board exam date released, know when the exam will start

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has announced the date sheet for class 10th and 12th board exams for the academic year 2023-24. The 10th and 12th board exams will be conducted from 15 February to 10 April 2024. The examinations will run for 55 days. Students can check the exam date and other information on the official website of the board, cbse.gov.in.

Lalit Narayan Mithila University, Darbhanga, BiharLalit Narayan Mithila University) has amended the date of spot admission of students who have applied online for enrollment in the four-year undergraduate first semester session 2023-27. According to the notification issued on Friday, now students will be able to enroll on 18 and 19 July. As per the notification issued earlier, students were given the facility to take spot admission on 17th and 18th July. It is said that due to the examination of degree part two in various colleges on July 17, the principals concerned had requested the university administration to change the date of enrollment. On this request, the university has amended the enrollment date. However, the date of change in Major and Minor subject is earlier.

Students will be able to make changes in major and minor subjects today

DSW Pro. Vijay Kumar Yadav has issued a letter to the principals of all constituent and affiliated colleges, saying that despite enrollment from the first selection list and waiting list, some seats in many subjects have remained vacant, while the number of unenrolled students is more. Those students who have not been enrolled so far, and are willing to enroll in another major subject, can be enrolled in the spot round by changing the major and minor subject accordingly. Students have been told that by July 14 and 15, they can make changes in major and minor subjects accordingly with login ID and password on the portal. By downloading the changed application form from the website, you can enroll in the spot round on “first come first serve” policy on July 18 and 19 in the college where the seat is vacant. The list of vacant seats has been uploaded on the website of the University.

Beebos exam will be taken from August 4

On behalf of Bihar Board, the 10th examination of Bihar Board of Bihar Board of Open Schooling and Examination will be held at three centers in the district. Dr. Nagendra Jha Mahila Mahavidyalaya, MKP Vidyapati High School and ML Academy have been made centers for the examination. In these centres, seating arrangements have been made for about 1952 candidates. This divisional level examination will be held from August 4 to 12. Candidates of Darbhanga, Madhubani and Samastipur regions will be included in the examination. Preparation has been started to conduct the examination clean, fair, malpractice free and peaceful. The exam will be held in two shifts daily. The first shift will be from 9.30 am to 12.45 pm and the second shift will be from 2 pm to 5.15 pm.

Admission will be given in the center 30 minutes before

Entry will be allowed in the center only 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination. Admission will be available till 9 am for the first shift and till 1.30 pm for the second shift.
Practical exam will be held from 31st July to 2nd August. On July 31, there will be practical examination of Home Science in the first shift and Basic Computer in the second shift. On the other hand, on August 1, there will be examination of Yoga and Physical Education in the first shift and Science in the second shift. On the third day, August 2, the practical examination of painting will be taken in the first shift.

MoU signed between Nalanda Open University and Nava Nalanda Mahavihara

A G-20 conference was organized on Friday by All India Radio and Nava Nalanda Mahavihar in the capital Patna. Globalization and nation connectivity were discussed on this occasion. Along with this, for the purpose of promoting research and quality education, MoU was signed by the total secretaries of Nalanda Open University and Nava Nalanda Mahavihara. On this occasion, Vice-Chancellor of Nalanda Open University Dr. Professor KC Sinha said that with this agreement, the students and teachers of the university will be mutually benefitted by associating with the best institutions. Vice Chancellor of Nava Nalanda Mahavihara Prof. Baidhanath Labh and Assistant Director of Doordarshan Dr. Rajkumar Nahar were also present on the occasion.
