CBI team reached Sahibganj for the fifth time to investigate illegal mining, asked this question to Dahu Yadav’s father

Sahibganj: A three-member CBI team investigating the case of ED witness Vijay Hansda in the Rs 1000 crore illegal mining and money laundering case reached Sahibganj for the fifth time late on Monday night. The CBI team reached Dahu Yadav’s residence at around 11:15 am on Tuesday morning. The team reached the bathhouse near his residence and conducted investigation. Dahu’s father Pashupati Yadav, who was present there, was interrogated by the CBI team members for about 40 minutes. After this, took some papers and documents from Dahu’s father.

According to the information, during this time the CBI team members directly asked Dahu’s father where is Dahu Yadav? When did you last talk to him? Since when has he not come to his home? If you talk to him, tell him to surrender as soon as possible. During interrogation, the team also showed some documents to Dahu’s father and obtained many information in the case. After this the team members inspected the entire bathan. It is known that Pashupati Yadav has recently been released from jail in this case. Barhet MLA representative Pankaj Mishra is currently in jail in the ED case related to illegal mining. Meanwhile, Dahu Yadav is absconding.

Temporary checkpoints will be activated to stop illegal mining and transportation

In the meeting of the District Mining Task Force, Deputy Commissioner Manjunath Bhajantri directed the Forest, Mining Department, administrative and police officials to take continuous action against illegal mining and transportation. He asked the SDO, CO and police station in-charge to inspect the vehicles and submit a report. The Deputy Commissioner also asked to identify illegal mining sites. He talked about fixing the accountability of the CO and the station in-charge in case of illegal mining and transportation of sand and minerals from any area. The Deputy Commissioner directed the DMO to be strict, conduct continuous campaigns and take action after taking information about the FIR lodged against people involved in illegal mining, transportation and storage. He asked to ensure that illegal mining, transportation and storage is stopped by activating temporary check posts. Forest Divisional Officer Mamta Priyadarshi and all the senior officials of the concerned departments were present in the meeting.
