CBI investigation continues in Sahibganj, interrogation of Sanjay Yadav and Vijay Hansda

The CBI team probing the case of ED witness Vijay Hansda in Sahibganj illegal mining case worth Rs 1000 crores went towards Bhavani Chowki in Sahibganj in two vehicles on the third day on Saturday morning. Sources reveal that before reaching Bhawani Chowki, the CBI team also inspected some areas around Manjhikola. After about 20 minutes, the CBI went to Vijay Hansda’s house at Bhawani Chowki. There was no one in Vijay’s house at that time. For this reason, the CBI team has obtained information from the nearby villagers.

It is being told that in the meantime, the CBI has also inquired about the dispute between the police and the villagers of Manjhikola in the year 2021 regarding the collection of money by building private barriers near Marikuti and Majhikola mountains. The CBI team returned to the Circuit House from there at around 12:00. The team called Sanjay Yadav and Vijay Hansda, residents of Sakri Gali, to the circuit house for questioning. Then after questioning both of them, information about many documents was also taken. The most important link, many questions were also asked on the case registered in the ST-SC police station.

Team reached civil court to investigate case related to Vijay Hansda

The CBI team reached Civil Court, Sahibganj to investigate the case related to Vijay Hansda. It is worth noting that complaints have been filed against the stone mafia in cases related to illegal stone quarrying and other charges, which are currently pending in the court of District and Additional Sessions Judge I Dheeraj Kumar. In the past, the above documents were also observed by ED.
