CBI interrogated 5 including Sahibganj’s DMO, station in-charge and Dahu’s close aide in illegal mining case

Sahibganj: On the second day on Friday, the CBI team accelerated the investigation process of illegal mining case and ED witness Vijay Hansda’s case. The CBI interrogated five people including DMO Vibhuti Kumar, ST-SC station in-charge Shivkumar Singh and Subesh Mandal, considered close to Dahu. Alsubah, a four-member CBI team reached Mangalhat and brought Dahu’s close aide Subesh Mandal, who was named in the case registered at the ST-SC police station, to the circuit house for questioning from his house.

Inquired Subesh about the FIR lodged in the ST-SC police station by Vijay Hansda, head of Lemon Pahad. The CBI called District Mining Officer Vibhuti Kumar for questioning at the temporary camp office at Circuit House. The CBI interrogated the DMO for about an hour. On Friday evening, the ED witness Vijay Hansda, who was probing illegal mining worth Rs 1000 crore, was called by the CBI to the camp office at Circuit House and interrogated for a long time. During the interrogation, the CBI had also called Vijay Hansda’s lawyer.

Interrogation of wife of liquor trader Yogendra Tiwari, brother Amarendra and Vishnu Aggarwal today

Liquor trader Yogendra Tiwari and his brother Amarendra Tiwari and Vishnu Aggarwal’s wife will be questioned on August 26 in different cases. The ED has issued summons to both of them and directed them to appear at the regional office in Hinoo, Ranchi for questioning. ED raided 33 places in the liquor scam on 23-24 August. During the raid itself, Yogendra Tiwari was summoned and directed to appear for questioning on August 26. On the other hand, the wife of businessman Vishnu Agarwal, arrested in the land scam case, has been issued summons for the second time and directed to appear for questioning on August 26. He will be questioned in other matters including the land bought by Vishnu Agarwal.
