CBI busts fake job racket gang, raids at 9 places including Patna-Araria, three arrested

The Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI) has busted an inter-state gang of a fake job racket. In this matter, on Friday, after conducting a thorough investigation, the agency has registered a case against six people. Along with this, three people including Vishal alias Abhishek of Araria district of Bihar have also been arrested. The arrested accused will be presented before the court. In this case, CBI has conducted simultaneous raids in the last three days at nine places including Patna and Araria as well as Dhanbad, Mumbai, Mangaluru, Bengaluru. In the last two years, this gang had collected crores of rupees from the candidates by promising them government jobs.

Gang used to take amount of up to Rs 10-15 lakh in the name of providing job

According to the information received from CBI, this gang used to take an amount of Rs 10-15 lakh in the name of providing a government job. This gang used to target those youth who are preparing for various government jobs and are dejected due to not being successful in the examination. After targeting job seekers, the members of this gang extort money from people by imposing various types of charges. This racket is spread simultaneously in many states of the country.

The gang was being operated in a systematic manner

This fake racket, which was running in the name of providing government jobs, was working in such a systematic manner that once someone got caught in its clutches, it was not possible for him to withdraw the money. For this, the gang had organized itself in such a way that no one could contact the people who were part of the organization. His gang had also made arrangements for training and distribution of fake appointment letters etc. at many places across the country.

Fake training was given to job seekers

In this case, CBI conducted searches at nine places including Patna, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Mangalore and Dhanbad, which included two fake training centers in Sakinaka, Mumbai and one fake training center in Buxar, in which fake appointments for jobs were allegedly conducted. After this, about 25 job seekers were being given training. During the search, objectionable documents like fake call letters, fake appointment letters, fake training dossiers of job seekers were recovered. Further investigation is going on in the matter. The arrested accused will be presented in the court.
