CBI arrested two people including the dispatch officer of Chatra’s CCL Amrapali project for taking Rs 50,000 bribe.

Chatra: CBI (Central Bureau of Investigation) team arrested two people including the dispatch officer of CCL Amrapali project of Chatra for taking a bribe of Rs 50 thousand. Documents have also been recovered from it. The CBI team is investigating the case. It is being told that a bribe of Rs 91 thousand was demanded from the complainant in exchange for permission to lift coal. The complainant complained about this to the CBI. When the investigation found the case to be true, CBI laid a trap and arrested two people including the dispatch officer.

Bribe was demanded for permission to lift coal
CBI had received a complaint against the dispatch officer of Amrapali Project (CCL) of Chatra. On the basis of this, CBI had registered the case. It is alleged that the accused had demanded a bribe of Rs 91 thousand for granting permission to lift coal from CCL Amrapali Project, Chatra against DO No. 1002 and 1003.

After the complaint, CBI laid a trap and on the instructions of the accused dispatch officer, caught the clerk (Grade-III) while taking a bribe of Rs 50,000 from the complainant. During this time, the CBI team also arrested the accused dispatch officer. During this period the premises were also searched. Documents have also been recovered.
