CBI arrested Chatra’s Amrapali Coal Project overseer Rambhaju and middleman Ashok Ram for taking bribe of Rs 25,000.

Chatra: CBI Ranchi team on Tuesday cracked down on corrupt officials in Tandwa Amrapali Coal Project in Chatra district of Jharkhand. In the same sequence, civil department overseer Rambhaju and middleman Ashok Ram, working in Amrapali project office, were arrested red-handed while taking a bribe of Rs 25,000. Bribe was being demanded in exchange for passing the gate house bill. The matter was investigated after the complaint. When the investigation found the case to be true, the CBI team took action.

CBI team’s investigation continues
Ranchi CBI team on Tuesday arrested two people for taking bribe. In these, Tandwa Amrapali Coal Project overseer Rambhaju and middleman Ashok Ram were caught taking bribe of Rs 25,000. There was a stir there after his arrest. The investigation by the CBI team is still going on in the project office. The CBI team is still collecting information at many places in Amrapali. After the action, there is a stir in Amrapali coal plant. There was silence in the offices after the arrest. All the officers had fled the office.
