Case of stock of notes found from Dheeraj Sahu’s hideout echoed in Parliament, demand to dismiss Jharkhand government

The matter of huge stock of currency notes found from the premises of Jharkhand Congress MP Dheeraj Sahu echoed in the Parliament on Monday (December 11). Ranchi MP Sanjay Seth raised this issue in the Lok Sabha. After finding around Rs 350 crore in cash from the hideouts of Rajya Sabha MPs of the Congress party, they have demanded the dismissal of the Jharkhand government. As soon as Sanjay Seth raised this question, there was an uproar in the Parliament. Members of the ruling party started demanding answers from Rahul Gandhi and Sonia Gandhi. Ranchi MP said that this is not just a matter of recovery of cash, it is also related to the security of the nation. Not only this, the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader also asked questions in Parliament related to the security of Enforcement Directorate (ED) officers in Jharkhand. He expressed concern in the House over the threats being received by ED officers and the conspiracy being hatched against them. The BJP MP said that Jharkhand, rich in mineral wealth, has been turned into a mine of corruption by the Indian Alliance (INDIA) government running with the support of Congress. Jharkhand is governed by Jharkhand Mukti Morcha, Congress and Rashtriya Janata Dal.

Cash recovery is no small matter: Sanjay Seth

Sanjay Seth said in Lok Sabha that the recovery of Rs 500 crore from the house of Congress Rajya Sabha MP is not a small thing. He also said that the lives of ED officials in Jharkhand are in danger. Their safety is in danger. All this is because of people associated with corruption supported by the state government. The MP demanded in the House that the security of ED officials in Jharkhand should be ensured. The corrupt coalition government should be immediately dismissed and the corrupt MP who has kept such a large amount of cash should be immediately arrested. Sanjay Seth said that it is really a matter of concern that how can a man keep such a huge amount of cash under the guise of business.

Sanjay Seth also said that the facts given in the affidavit filed by ED officials in the Supreme Court are extremely worrying. This is extremely unfortunate and not good for democracy in any way. Lok Sabha member Sanjay Seth also raised the issue of large-scale conversion taking place in Jharkhand. In response to his question, Tribal Affairs Minister Arjun Munda said that this is a state subject and only the state government has to take action in this matter.
