Case of murder of student in Patna raised in Lok Sabha, BJP MP Ramkripal Yadav demands speedy trial

On Monday, in Masaurhi of Patna district, a crazy student shot and killed 17 year old Anamika, a 12th class student, after running her on the road while she was going for coaching. Now the demand is being raised to quickly punish the accused of this criminal incident which took place in broad daylight. In this context, Patliputra Lok Sabha constituency MP Ramkripal Yadav, while drawing the attention of the Speaker of the House during the Zero Hour in the Lok Sabha, said that criminal incidents are increasing in Bihar.

The student was shot at a short distance from the police station: Ramkripal

MP Ramkripal Yadav told the Speaker of the Lok Sabha through the House that Anamika Kumari, a minor girl from the Dalit community who was going to study coaching, was shot dead in Masaudhi assembly constituency of Patliputra Lok Sabha constituency, just five hundred meters away from the police station in Masaudhi. Has been done. Along with this, while giving information about another criminal incident, the MP said that earlier on November 5 this year, Devraj alias Lalu Yadav, a resident of Bikram’s Berar, was also shot dead in front of the police station. The MP said that the morale of criminals has increased in Bihar.

Demand for speedy trial and immediate punishment

In the House, Ramkripal Yadav demanded from the Lok Sabha Speaker that justice should be provided to the daughter of the Dalit family and the police administration should immediately arrest the culprits involved in both the incidents and give them maximum punishment by running a speedy trial. In case of both the incidents, I demand immediate relief and justice for the victim’s family.

Girl student was shot while going for coaching

In fact, at around 8 am on Monday morning in Manichak Road, Masodhi, a crazy student had chased class 12 student Anamika (17 years) on the road and shot her dead. After the shooting, the student had fled on foot towards Patel Nagar. At that time the student was going to coaching in nearby Kashmirganj. The entire incident was captured in the CCTV installed there. The deceased student Anamika Kumari was the daughter of Kamlesh Kumar, resident of Kazichak village of Chapaur Panchayat of Police Station. For the last ten days, she used to stay and study at the house of her cousin Nana Kishori Paswan, a resident of Taregna Mohalla. She used to go to coaching at Gandhi Maidan on foot from her maternal grandfather’s house every morning at eight o’clock.

Young man shot two bullets at student

It is said that the young man also studied in the same coaching institute. While committing the incident, the accused youth was wearing a mask on his face. It is visible in the CCTV footage that the young man followed the student and tried to talk to her by forcibly stopping her on the way. The student did not want to talk to him. Angered by this, the young man took out the pistol from his waist. Seeing the pistol in the hand of the young man, the student turned back and started running away. The accused also ran after him and shot him in the head from behind. The student fell as soon as the bullet hit her. After this, another bullet was loaded in the pistol and another bullet was fired in his temple. Due to which the student died on the spot.

The accused has been identified

Police have identified the young man who shot and killed a student on Monday morning. Due to obstruction in the arrest, the police is not disclosing his name at present. However, to raid the accused, the police are detaining some of his family members and interrogating them.

Another similar incident had happened two months ago also.

A similar incident had happened on 21st September in Taregna Dih locality of Masodhi. The only difference is that the girl survived despite being shot, but the mad young man who shot the girl also shot himself, due to which he died on the spot.

Concern among parents regarding girls’ education

After two incidents within two months, parents of Masauri and surrounding rural areas have become worried about the education of their girls. After the incident that happened on Monday, phones started ringing in various coaching institutes located around Gandhi Maidan in the city. The family members of the girls who came out of the house started asking the coaching director about the well-being of their daughter. Some parents even reached the extent of coaching. During this time, parents ask that how can they send their daughter out to study in this situation. His allegation was that after the incident that took place on 21st September, people were asked to mark the spots around the coaching center and take action.

Hundreds of people gathered in the hospital for six hours

After the incident, when the body of the student was brought to the sub-divisional hospital, apart from her family members, hundreds of people from her village and surrounding areas started creating ruckus at the hospital and were angry against the police. The crowd kept increasing continuously for six hours and the police kept watching silently.
