former indian captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni Fellow cricketer cum business partner Mihir Diwakar But Ahmedabad A complaint of fraud has also been lodged at Vastrapur police station. This complaint has been lodged by MR Enterprises located at SP Ring Road, Ahmedabad. It said that in the year 2020, Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Das, directors of Arka Sports Management Private Limited, contacted us (MR Enterprises) and informed that Mahendra Singh Dhoni wants to start cricket academies in different parts of the country and there is a 10-year plan to run it. The authority of the year has been given to him (Mihir). Under this, he (Mihir) is planning to start MS Dhoni Cricket Academy in Gujarat. Mihir told that such academies will be established at five places in Gujarat.

Encouraged by Mihir’s words, we (MR Enterprises) paid him (Mihir) Rs 45 lakh (instead of Rs 60 lakh) as license fee for 10 years. Apart from this, on getting the rights to open a cricket academy, Dhoni also paid a royalty of Rs 75,000 per month (instead of Rs 1 lakh per month). After this, an agreement was signed with Arka Sports Management on 26 October 2020 regarding the Cricket Academy. From then till October 2022, we (MR Enterprises) paid Rs 9,25,000 as royalty. Apart from this, Rs 1,47,00,000 has been spent separately in the name of preparing the ground and providing other facilities. Besides, Rs 3,50,000 was spent on hospitality, hotel and travel allowance for the representatives of Arka Sports Management who came to oversee these works. In this way, till now we have spent a total of Rs 2,11,75,000 in the name of establishing and running the cricket academy.

Later we (MR Enterprises) came to know that the right given to Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Das to open a cricket academy has been canceled by Dhoni on 15 August 2021. In this situation, Mihir Diwakar and Soumya Das’s Arka Sports Management has no right to take any kind of financial benefit.
