Car Price Hike: Prices of Toyota, Honda and Kia cars increased

Car Price Hike: Last month, Toyota Kirloskar Motor (TKM) had announced that it will increase the prices of all its models from April 2024. Now, we have information about these new prices, let’s take a look at them. Toyota has increased the prices of hybrid models of Innova HighCross only by Rs 30,000. The prices of VX and VX(O) variants have been increased by up to Rs 25,000, while the prices of the top model ZX and ZX(O) variants have now increased by Rs 30,000.

Booking of Innova Highcross ZX and ZX(O) variants resumes

Also, TKM has resumed booking for Innova Highcross ZX and ZX(O) variants. Booking of these variants was stopped about a year ago due to high demand. The company is going to launch the GX(O) variant in the coming few weeks to further increase the value of these vehicles.

Honda increased the prices of its cars

With the start of the new financial year, Indian automakers are increasing prices of models across their portfolio. In this sequence, Japanese automaker Honda has increased the prices of its cars, which also includes Elevate. Available in four variants in Elevate manual and automatic gearbox options, this Hyundai Creta rival is now priced at Rs. It has become costlier by Rs 44,100.

Honda Elevate has a 1.5-litre i-VTEC petrol engine which gives power of 119bhp and torque of 145Nm. Customers can choose this engine with a six-speed manual gearbox or a CVT unit. The company claims that the MT variant of Elevate gives a mileage of 15.31kmpl, while the CVT gives a mileage of 16.92kmpl.

Price of KIA cars increased by 3 percent

KIA India has announced an increase of up to 3% in the prices of all its popular models, including Seltos, Sonet and Carens, effective from April 1, 2024. This decision has been taken due to the continuously increasing prices of commodities and inputs related to the supply chain. This is the first price adjustment of this year by the company.

Kia has so far sold approximately 1.16 million units in India and foreign markets together. Its best-selling car, the Seltos, tops the list with sales of over 613,000 units, followed by the Sonet with over 395,000 units and the Car with 159,000 units.
