Canceled Train: Railways canceled many trains and reduced trips, increased difficulties for passengers going to Delhi-Mumbai.

Gorakhpur News: Passengers going to Delhi and Mumbai may have to wait for confirmed seats in trains. The passengers were waiting for normal days. But, the railway administration has again canceled 38 trains running on various dates on the North Eastern Railway route, due to which passengers may have to face problems. The railway administration has changed the route of 50 trains. From December 1 to February 29, 25 trains have already been cancelled. The frequency of 36 trains has been reduced. Even on Saturday, there was a crowd of passengers at Gorakhpur railway station. There was chaos at the station due to sudden cancellation of four trains on Saturday. Passengers had to push and shove in the general coach. There was no space to even step inside the coach. Despite purchasing tickets, passengers could not board the trains. Passengers had to stand in long queues for general tickets. Passengers are facing a lot of trouble due to continuous cancellation of trains. The situation of trains is such that people going to Delhi and Mumbai are not able to get confirmed tickets. Not only Delhi, the condition of trains going to Mumbai has also worsened. During Diwali, Chhath and Lagan, lakhs of people from Purvanchal and Bihar came to their homes. Those people are returning now. But, those people are not able to get confirmed tickets, due to which they are facing a lot of trouble. Some passengers are traveling on general tickets. But, due to heavy crowd, some passengers are missing the train.

There is a situation of no room in most of the trains in Delhi and Mumbai. There is a waiting list of 235 in third AC and 389 in sleeper of 15065 Gorakhpur Panvel Express going on 10th December. The room in the sleeper of Mumbai going train Dadar, Kushinagar and Bandra. Due to which passengers are facing a lot of problems. Instead of running special trains, the Indian Railway Administration is continuously canceling trains citing bad weather and construction work, due to which people returning from Purvanchal and Bihar are facing a lot of problems. Lakhs of people from Bihar and Purvanchal travel daily through Gorakhpur Junction.

These trains are canceled

  • 15081 Nakaha Jungle Gomti Nagar Express canceled from 11 December to 15 January.

  • 15082 Gomti Nagar Nakaha Jungle Express canceled from 12 December to 16 January.

  • 11080 Gorakhpur Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Express will remain canceled on 16, 23, 30 December and 6 and 13 January.

  • 22922 Gorakhpur Bandra Terminus Express will remain canceled on 12, 19 and 26 December and 2, 9 and 16 January.

  • 11079 Lokmanya Tilak Terminus Gorakhpur Express will be canceled on 1421 and 28 December and 4 and 11 January.

  • 15203 Barauni Lucknow canceled from 11 December to 14 January.

  • 15204 Lucknow Barauni canceled from 12th December to 15th January.

  • 15069 Gorakhpur Aishbagh canceled from 12 December to 16 January.

  • 15070 Aishbagh Gorakhpur canceled from 11 December to 15 January.

  • 12597 Gorakhpur Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus will remain canceled on 12,19,26 December and 2 and 9 January.

  • 12598 Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj Terminus Gorakhpur Express will be canceled on 13, 20 and 27 December, 3 and 10 January.

  • 12529 Patliputra Lucknow Express will be canceled on 5,6,8,9,10,12,13 and 15 January.

  • 12530 Lucknow Patliputra Express will remain canceled on 5,6,8,9,10, 12,13 and 15 January.
