Calcutta High Court: Now CBI will investigate the case of missing minor of Burdwan.

Now investigation into the case of a minor missing for seven months in Burdwan, West Bengal CBI Will do. While hearing the case on Thursday, Judge Jai Sengupta directed a CBI investigation into the incident. The minor is a resident of Khandaghosh in East Burdwan. The court has also commented that the negligence of the state police is visible in the entire matter. It was alleged that MLAs and many influential leaders of the ruling party were behind the disappearance of the minor. The police were also accused of negligence in the investigation. After this, on January 15, the High Court had ordered a CID investigation into the incident.

Earlier the responsibility of investigation was given to CID

While the police were investigating the incident, two people were arrested. But as the chargesheet was not submitted within 90 days, both of them got bail. It was also alleged that those who got bail were close to the MLA. The investigators are pointing out the involvement of the ruling party leaders in the entire incident. After getting the responsibility of investigation, CID interrogated some people. The possibility of trafficking of minor to other states and neighboring countries cannot be ruled out, this will also be investigated by CBI. The next hearing of the case will be on March 13. On that day, CBI will have to submit the progress report of the investigation.

Two people have been arrested so far

It is said that there has been no trace of the girl for seven months. It is said that even after the arrest of two people in this case, neither the police has been able to trace the girl nor has she been able to submit the charge sheet in the court. The victim’s family filed a case in the High Court regarding this matter, after which the judge has given the above instructions today. It is said that the two people who were arrested in this case, the police could not submit any charge sheet in the court within 90 days of the arrest, due to which both the arrested accused got bail.
