Patna. Police have arrested two out of three robbers in the case of robbery from Rapido driver in Zakariapur of Gopalpur police station area. ASP Kamya Mishra said that on the late night of June 12, three criminals riding a bike from a Rapido driver had looted his scooty, three thousand rupees and a mobile at pistol point near Zakariapur. As soon as the information about this matter was received, the team of Gopalpur police station started investigation and raid. Last Friday, a secret information was received that two criminals have gathered in Zakariapur itself to execute an incident.
As soon as the information was received, Station Officer Abhishek Kumar Ranjan, SI Munna Das, Prof. SI Naveen Kumar Singh, ASI Santosh Kumar, constables Amarjeet Kumar and Shivshankar Choubey arrested the two accused by conducting a joint raid. The arrested accused include 20-year-old Rajan Kumar Singh, a resident of Baruari under Sadar police station area of Supaul, and 24-year-old Sanjay Kumar alias Gabbar, a resident of Bariya under Gopalpur police station area. At present the accused Rajan Kumar Singh is a resident of the stone mosque of Sultanganj police station area.
Accused Rajan Kumar was preparing for CA
ASP Sadar told that the accused Rajan is very educated. After studying in a big coaching institute of Kota, he came to Patna to enroll in the university. Trapped in the company of some wrong people, Rajan looted. Rajan was also preparing for CA in Patna. On the other hand, the second accused Sanjay Kumar works in the bus stand and has already gone to jail on charges of assault.
Seized three other mobiles of theft and loot
Apart from the looted mobile, three other mobile phones have been recovered from both the criminals. An expensive Apple phone that Rajan was using. A total of four mobiles have been recovered. The ASP told that another accused is absconding. At the same time, the bike and weapon used in the robbery have not been recovered yet. Both the accused will be interrogated by taking them on remand. For the arrest of the third, the Gopalpur police has also conducted raids in different police station areas.
