Bus overturns on Agra-Lucknow Expressway, more than 30 passengers injured in the accident, condition of 9 critical

A bus accident took place on Lucknow Expressway in Agra at around 2 o’clock on Sunday night. A bus going from Delhi to Varanasi went out of control and collided with the divider. Due to which about 32 passengers sitting in the bus were injured. The condition of 9 of them is said to be critical. A 23-year-old Israeli passenger is also included in the bus. All the injured have been admitted to the hospital.

According to the information received, a bus going from Delhi to Varanasi met with an accident on Agra Expressway at around 2 pm on Sunday night. According to the police, about 40 passengers were traveling in the bus. The accident happened due to the bus suddenly climbing the divider. It is believed that the bus driver had dozed off. Most of the passengers were sleeping in the bus at the time of the accident. There was screaming among the passengers when the bus overturned. The passengers called the police. After about 20 minutes the police reached the spot. Rescue work was started. The passengers were evacuated from the bus. The injured were taken to CHC Fatehabad at around 4 am on Monday morning. Where doctors gave him first aid. A total of 34 passengers are injured. Of these, the condition of 9 is critical and they have been diagnosed with SN. Medical college has been referred.

According to Agra administration, the injured include Nisha Kaul, Disham, Murgashyam, Kalpana, Nautik, Karthik, Manish, Rachna, Shamim, Nitesh, Gopal Sharma, Sandeep, Hemlata, Mohd. Imran, Aamir, Sunil Kumar, Shailesh, Sudev, Akhilesh, Sreejesh, Vineet, Ritesh, Akash, Mohit, Ajay Dubey are included. Apart from these, the condition of Sayal Sinha, Dhan Lakshmi, Anju Kumari, Ajit Kumar, Rameshwar, Vishwanath, Siddharth, Amit and Sanjay Gupta is said to be critical.

Agra Police Commissioner Preetinder Singh said that after the accident, the police had started the rescue in time. Due to this, the passengers could be taken to the hospital on time. We are in touch with the doctors. All the injured are being treated.
