Burning Train: Fire in Danapur-Lokmanya Tilak special train

Burning Train , Patna. A fire broke out in a Holi special train near Karisath station between Ara-Bihiya. The incident happened late night on Tuesday (26 March). A fire broke out in coach number M-9 of train number 01417 Danapur-Lokmanya Tilak Express, after which there was chaos. Seeing the fire, passengers started jumping from the moving train. After the incident, the train has been stopped on the loop line. The train had opened from Danapur. The fire has been brought under control. This incident is said to have taken place between 1 and 2 in the night. Holi special train from Danapur left at 11:12 pm on Tuesday night. According to the information received so far, there is no news of any casualty in this accident.

It is said that a fire incident took place in the Holi special train from Danapur to Lokmanya Tilak Terminus as soon as it started from Arrah. This train had opened for going from Ara Junction towards Buxar at around 11:58 in the night. After about 10 to 12 minutes, information about the fire came to light. The train was immediately stopped between Bihiya and Karisath stations. After primary repair work, this train reached Buxar Railway Station at 6:40 am on Wednesday. Arrangements have been made to remove the coach affected by the fire and send the remaining passengers to their destination.

Up and down lines remained disrupted

After this accident, the operation of trains in both up and down directions was completely stopped. Operations could be restored after about three hours in the up line and about six hours in the down line. After this incident, electricity supply was stopped in the OHE of UP railway line. Meanwhile, the Railways ran the trains that had started from Patna to DDU via Sasaram instead of Arrah to Buxar. Many trains were diverted from Patna via Gaya. Due to this accident, no train service was available at Buxar railway station to go to any city in the western direction including DDU Varanasi.

Routes of many trains changed

Railways diverted several trains like Mahananda Express, Punjab Mail, Vibhuti Express, Saharsa Bandra Terminus Humsafar, Danapur Pune Express, Patna Junction Lokmanya Tilak Express, North East Express, Jogbani Anand Vihar Seemanchal Express, Farakka Express and Garib Rath Express. Gave information about going through a different route. However, after the track was cleared on Wednesday morning, some trains like North East Express and Patna LTT Express were allowed to pass through their respective routes.
