Vehicle manufacturer Maruti Suzuki has launched Maruti Franks in a total of five variants, which include Sigma, Delta, Delta Plus, Zeta and Alpha. CNG option is given in its initial variants Sigma and Delta. At the same time, it is available in three dual-tone and six monotone colors. These include Earthen Brown exterior with Bluish Black roof, Opulent Red exterior with Bluish black roof, Splendid Silver exterior with Bluish black roof, Earthen Brown, Arctic White, Opulent Red, Grandeur Gray and Splendid Silver.
Maruti Fronx Engine and Transmission
Maruti Front comes in two engine options: 1-litre turbo petrol BoosterJet (100PS/148Nm) with mild-hybrid technology and 1.2-litre DualJet petrol (90PS/113Nm). The option of 5-speed manual and 6-speed automatic gearbox has been given with the turbo engine, while the option of 5-speed manual and 5-speed AMT gearbox has been given with the naturally aspirated engine. Its CNG variants have a 1.2-litre petrol engine. However, its power output in CNG mode is 77.5PS and 98.5Nm. Only 5-speed manual gearbox is provided in Front CNG.
Features and competition of Maruti Fronx
Features like 9-inch infotainment system with Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, heads-up display, cruise control, auto climate control and wireless phone charging have been provided in Maruti Front Car. At the same time, for the safety of passengers, features like 6 airbags, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Hill Hold Assist, 360 degree camera, ISOFIX child seat anchor and ABS with EBD have been provided. In the market it competes with Kia Sonet, Hyundai Venue, Tata Nexon, Mahindra XUV300, Renault Kiger, Nissan Magnite, Maruti Brezza and Hyundai Exeter.
