Bulldozer fired at BJP leader’s house for political reasons

Local BJP leader Sunil Singh, a resident of Ward No. 26 of the Kolkata Municipal Corporation, alleged that the Trinamool-run Kolkata Municipal Corporation bulldozed his house for political reasons. Although the Kolkata Municipal Corporation claims that the bulldozer has been run on the illegal part of the house, not the house. However, after this incident, there was a clash between BJP and Trinamool.

Councilor Sajal Ghosh was not allowed to discuss the issue in the monthly session

Ward No. 50 councilor Sajal Ghosh raised this issue at the end of the session of the monthly convention. But Chairperson Mala Roy told him that it cannot be discussed in the session. Mala Roy said that he will talk to the mayor if needed. Sajal Ghosh said, no citizen’s house can be broken in this way. Kindly look into this matter as humanity. It was not discussed in the session. BJP councilors held a press conference

After the end of the monthly session, the BJP councilors held a conference. Complainant Sunil Singh was also present along with BJP councilors Vijay Ojha, Meenadevi Purohit and Sajal Ghosh. Ten minutes later, Trinamool councilor Mahesh Sharma came to the press conference. His question was that the councilor’s club is only for councillors, how can the BJP district president hold a press conference there. Sajal countered that they are all tax payers. That’s why everyone has the right to hold a press conference there. Many Trinamool councilors including Bappaditya Dasgupta, Aseem Bose, Rajiv Das, Kajri Banerjee came to the councilor club. BJP leaders were victims of violence after elections

BJP leader Sunil Singh claimed that the demolition of his house was completely politically motivated. He was a victim of violence after the elections. But his FIR was not taken. Later his complaint was handed over to the police through the court. Sunil alleged that he was being targeted since then. The Trinamool claimed that BJP corporator Sajal’s security forces attacked and thrashed him. Threatened to kill with AK-47 rifle. Trinamool councilor reached Mayor Firhad Hakim and Chairperson Mala with complaint. Trinamool Councilor Bappaditya Dasgupta, Aseem Basu have requested him to take strict action in writing.
