Budget Session: In the all-party meeting, the opposition cornered the government in Hemant Soren case, Congress made serious allegations.

Parliament session starting from 31st January budget session An all-party meeting was held on Tuesday before. In which the opposition tried to corner the government in the matter of ED’s interrogation of Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren. In the meeting, the government told the leaders of various parties that it is ready to discuss every issue.

Congress made serious allegations against the government

Congress MP Pramod Tiwari, who represented Leader of Opposition in Rajya Sabha Mallikarjun Kharge in the meeting, said that he raised the issue of violent attacks on the Rahul Gandhi-led ‘Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra’ in Assam and the restrictions imposed on it by the state government. Deputy leader of Congress in Rajya Sabha, Tiwari said in the press conference that undeclared dictatorship prevails in the country. He alleged that the central government is misusing the CBI and ED to target opposition leaders like Jharkhand Chief Minister Hemant Soren and Rashtriya Janata Dal chief Lalu Prasad.

Parliament session between January 31 and February 9

This will be the last session of Parliament before the Lok Sabha elections 2024. This time there will be a Parliament session between January 31 and February 9 in which Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the interim budget before the Lok Sabha elections. The new government will present the full budget. The session will start with the address of President Draupadi Murmu.

45 leaders from 30 parties attended the all-party meeting

After the all-party meeting, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Prahlad Joshi said, 45 leaders of 30 parties including the ruling BJP attended the meeting. The meeting took place in a favorable atmosphere. This is a short session and the last one of the 17th Lok Sabha. We have requested the MPs not to bring placards. In the all-party meeting, Defense Minister and Deputy Leader of the House in the Lok Sabha Rajnath Singh, Parliamentary Affairs Minister Pralhad Joshi and Minister of State for Parliamentary Affairs Arjun Ram Meghwal represented the government. The meeting was attended by Congress leader Kodikunil Suresh, Trinamool Congress’ Sudip Bandopadhyay, Dravida Munnetra Kazhagam (DMK) leader TR Baalu, Shiv Sena’s Rahul Shewale, Samajwadi Party leader ST Hasan, Janata Dal (United) leader Ram Nath Thakur and Jayadev Galla of Telugu Desam Party (TDP) was included.
