Special provision was made in the last budget
In the general budget of 2023, the amount of PM Kisan Yojana given to farmers was kept unchanged by the Central Government. Along with this, a target was set to distribute Rs 20 lakh crore through Kisan Credit Card. Also, there was talk of creating a Kisan Digital Public Infrastructure Platform for farmers. Also, the government’s focus was on starting start-ups in the agriculture sector and it was announced to create a digital accelerator fund. The Finance Minister had announced to create a cluster based value chain keeping the cotton sector in mind.
