Lucknow News: Bahujan Samaj Party supremo Mayawati has once again said that she will contest the Lok Sabha elections 2024 alone. He said that his party will keep distance from both the Indian National Democratic Inclusive Alliance (INDIA) and the National Democratic Alliance (NDA). The BSP supremo reviewed the preparations for the Lok Sabha elections with senior officials and district heads of Uttar Pradesh and Uttarakhand at the party’s state headquarters in Lucknow on Sunday. During this, he said that BSP will work by strengthening its strength like before and will move ahead on its own strength. In this regard, cautioning her people against spreading fake news, Mayawati said that anti-BSP elements are still not stopping from spreading such propaganda from time to time as part of a political conspiracy. Therefore, it is very important to take precautions at every level, so that your election preparations are not affected in any way.
The issue of public problems dominates the hearts and minds of people.
BSP supremo Mayawati, taking cognizance of the ruling party BJP and its government once again adopting a new election strategy, said that despite all this, the burning problems of the country and its people still persist. Among these, disturbing inflation, extreme poverty, unemployment, decrease in income, bad roads, water, education, health, housing, crime control and law and order etc. definitely dominate the hearts and minds of the people. But, it is difficult to say how serious an election issue this will be, because in matters of public interest and public welfare, the attitude of BJP and Congress has been seen to be almost the same anti-people.
Reservation should not be allowed to become an issue of cosmetic change
The BSP supremo said that the provision of reservation has been made in the Constitution for the liberation and equality of the people of the majority SC, ST and OBC communities, who have been victims of social and economic exploitation, injustice and inequality on the basis of casteism for centuries. But, efforts to make it inactive and ineffective are continuing at every level. In such a situation, reservation should not be allowed to remove unemployment and become a reason for other cosmetic changes. He said that as long as unequal policies and policies continue in the society and government, people will not be able to get the true benefits of reservation and it will remain only a paper facility.
Bulldozers being run before conviction
Referring to the serious circumstances in the meeting, Mayawati said that just as a person’s entire family is being punished by indiscriminately bulldozing it even before he is proven guilty in the case, similarly a person is being punished even before his punishment is announced. Its educational institutions and now even hospitals are being closed, this is a gross anti-people step. Due to this, people’s problems are increasing.
