BSP MP Maluk Nagar resigns, did not get ticket

Lucknow: BSP MP from Bijnor Malook Nagar has resigned from the party. BSP had canceled his ticket and made Chaudhary Bijendra Singh its candidate from Bijnor. Bijendra was somewhat angry about this. He has also written a letter to BSP chief Mayawati. Maluk Nagar has written that he is under great compulsion to leave the party.

Was in BSP since 2006
Malook Nagar has written in the letter that for the first time in 39 years, this has happened that even we MLAs and MPs could not contest. Over the years, Congress and BSP have made block chiefs, chairman district council, president district panchayat, MLA, MLC, minister and MP. We took membership of BSP party in 2006. Grateful for the time and your blessings that we received while living together for 18 years.

Many MPs have left
Before the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) has faced many setbacks. Another blow has been dealt. BSP MP from Lalganj Sangeeta Azad and her husband Azad Arimardan
Left the party and took membership of BJP. Ambedkar Nagar MP Ritesh Pandey had left BSP and joined BJP. Afzal Ansari has joined Samajwadi Party from Ghazipur. Along with Jaunpur, Shyam Singh Yadav also seems to be moving away from BSP.

Won 10 seats in 2019
Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) had won 10 seats in the 2019 elections in alliance with SP. These seats are Bijnor, Saharanpur, Nagina, Shravasti, Lalganj, Ghosi, Ghazipur, Amroha, Ambedkar Nagar. Earlier in 2014, even the account of BSP was not opened. BSP is contesting the elections alone in 2024. At present, BSP’s star campaigner is Mayawati’s nephew Akash Anand. He is continuously attacking Congress, SP and BJP by holding public meetings.
