Bareilly : Bahujan Samaj Party (BSP) chief Mayawati’s focus is on social engineering before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections. His plan is to help every caste. So that by winning the Lok Sabha elections in 2024, we can save the existence of the party by getting a share in the power of the center. Because the mass base of BSP is continuously decreasing. The BSP, which formed the government with absolute majority on its own in the 2007 UP assembly elections, got about 13 percent votes in the last assembly elections. Whereas in UP there is about 22 percent Dalit vote. The vote base is decreasing in every election. Due to this, the Dalit vote base of the party has also started going away. Clouds of crisis are also coming on the national status of the party.
Before the 2024 Lok Sabha elections, the BSP chief is trying to help the society by giving big responsibilities to the leaders of every caste. For this, from the main zone coordinator of Bareilly to all the coordinators of UP, information has been sought about the caste-wise leaders. After that they will be sent among the castes. BSP had big leaders of every caste. They used to have the ability to get the votes of their society cast in favor of the party candidates. But an old leader of the party told Dabi Jumba that after the arrival of Satish Chandra Mishra, the political situation in the BSP changed. After this Swami Prasad Maurya, Nasimmuddi Siddiqui, SP Singh Baghel, RK Chaudhary, Islam Sabir, Indrajit Singh Saroj, Jaiveer Singh, Laxmi Narayan Chaudhary, Narendra Kashyap, Heera Lal Kashyap, Vijaypal Singh, Roshan Lal Verma, Dr. DC Verma, Dharam Singh All the prominent leaders including Saini got down from BSP’s elephant and joined BJP, SP, and Congress. After this the performance of the party also started deteriorating.
BSP changed zone incharge
After the UP assembly elections 2022, the BSP has suffered a big political loss in the municipal elections 2023 as well. Apart from losing the mayor seat of Meerut and Aligarh Municipal Corporation, the performance of the party candidates in Municipal Corporation and Nagar Panchayats was not good. After this, BSP chief Mayawati made a major reshuffle in the organization before the Lok Sabha elections 2024. The main zone in-charge Shamsuddin Rain was removed from Meerut and sent to Bareilly division. Former state president Munkad Ali has been made the main zone in-charge of Meerut division.

Earlier, Naushad Ali, Rajkumar Gautam, and Pradeep Jatav, chief zone incharge of Bareilly division, were removed after a crushing defeat in the civic elections. Along with this, Jaipal Singh, advocate, once again became the district president of Bareilly. Rakshapal Nimesh of Badaun, Bhagwan Singh Gautam in Pilibhit and Udayveer Singh in Shahjahanpur have been given the responsibility of District President.
