Bokaro: Disabled employees and officers of SAIL including Bokaro Steel Plant will get additional transport allowance. Regarding this, Bokaro Steel Senior Manager (Personnel-Rules) Richa Kunal has issued a circular on Wednesday. There is a wave of happiness among the approximately three hundred disabled employees and officers of BSL who are benefiting from this. Disabled employees and officers of BSL (SAIL) were demanding additional transport allowance. In view of the guidelines, it has been decided to pay and extend additional transport allowance to the disabled people.
Bokaro diploma holder union said: victory of struggle
Here, Bokaro Diploma Holders Union-BIDU said that our demand of three months ago has been implemented. This is the victory of the struggle. Union General Secretary Sandeep Kumar said: BIDU was trying to provide additional transport allowance to the disabled employees of the establishment as per the guidelines of DPE.
How much benefit will the disabled employees of SAIL get?
Payment of additional transport allowance of Rs 65 per day of actual attendance (minimum of Rs 975 per month and maximum of Rs 1700 per month) to executives and non-executives, PWD The employees and officers of BSL-SAIL who were on the rolls of the company till 21.02.2022 and the date of issue of the circular will come under this category. The additional amount will replace the allowances/subsidies, if any, paid to the employees. The said additional amount of transport allowance payable to the employees will be kept out of the overall limit of cafeteria approach. The above facility will be effective from 21.02.2022.
