Mathura . A case of murder of a farmer sleeping on a tubewell has come to light in Mathura, Uttar Pradesh. The farmer has been killed by beating him with bricks and stones. As soon as the information about the incident was received, the villagers and relatives reached the spot. But the accused had fled before that. The police took the dead body from the spot and sent it for postmortem and started investigating.
Actually, 45-year-old Prempal Sharma alias Bablu, a resident of Katelia village of Thana Naujheel area, had gone to sleep on the tubewell built on the farm after having dinner from home. Prempal was guarding the field. When he was sleeping late at night, suddenly Mannu, a resident of the village, attacked him. Mannu attacked Prempal with a stone, due to which he died on the spot. After committing the crime, the accused Mannu fled from the spot.
Doctors declared dead in the hospital
When Prempal’s scream came out during the attack, the farmer who was sleeping in the nearby field heard the sound. When he immediately reached the spot, he saw Prempal in a bloody condition. After this, his family members were informed about this incident. After the information, the family and the people of the village reached the spot. In an injured condition, Prempal was taken to the Community Health Center at Naujheel, but the doctors declared him dead.
The accused is being searched – station in-charge
As soon as the information about the murder of the farmer was received, the police also reached the spot. The police have taken the body into custody and sent it for postmortem. It is being told that the accused Manu is a criminal type of person. He has stolen many times before. Station in-charge Naujheel Pramod Pawar told that the accused is being searched, he will be arrested soon.
