The governor asked for a report on assaulting a woman in the police station
Telangana Governor Tamilisai Soundararajan on Friday sought a report from senior officials of the government in connection with the incident of alleged manhandling of a woman at a police station in the state. According to a release issued by the Raj Bhavan, Sundararajan was pained to learn through media reports about the thrashing of a woman from the Lambada tribal community at a police station in Rachakonda Commissionerate limits on August 15. The release said that they have sought a detailed report on the incident within 48 hours from the chief secretary, director general of police and police commissioner of Rachakonda.
