Earthquake of 7.2 magnitude in Xinjiang, China, tremors felt in Delhi-NCR
A powerful earthquake of 7.2 magnitude occurred in China’s southern Xinjiang region late Monday night, whose tremors were also felt in Delhi and parts of the National Capital Region (NCR). The National Center for Seismology (NCS) said through the social media platform ‘X’ that the epicenter of the earthquake was at a depth of 80 kilometers in the southern Xinjiang region of China.
