A charge sheet was filed by CBI in Arrah court in which former MLC Hulas Pandey has also been made an accused. The statement of former MLC Hulas Pandey has also come out for the first time after his name appeared in the CBI charge sheet in the Brahmeshwar Mukhiya murder case. The troubles of Hulas Pandey, former MLC and parliamentary board president of Chirag Paswan’s party LJP (RA), are going to increase. After the CBI filed a supplementary charge sheet in the Ranveer Sena chief Barmeshwar Mukhiya murder case in the court of Session Judge-3 of Arrah District and Sessions Court, this case has once again come into discussion. The name of former MLC Hulas Pandey has also been included in this charge sheet. 10 years after the murder of Barmeshwar Singh alias Mukhiya ji, CBI has made former Legislative Councilor Hulas Pandey the main accused.

Now after CBI files the charge sheet in the session court, the special judge of CBI will take cognizance of the case. After that charges will be framed. The accused will be interrogated in the court regarding whether they accept the charges or not. If he does not have his own lawyer for his defense, the court will arrange for a lawyer. If the accused pleads innocent then the trial will begin. CBI will present witnesses with complete facts. The accused will be given a last chance for defense under Section 313 of the Criminal Procedure Code. The names of former MLC Hulas Pandey, Abhay Pandey, Nand Gopal Pandey alias Fauji, Ritesh Kumar alias Monu, Amitesh Kumar Pandey alias Guddu Pandey, Prince Pandey, Baleshwar Pandey and Manoj Rai alias Manoj Pandey have been included in the charge sheet filed by CBI.
CBI started investigation a year after the murder
Ranveer Sena chief Brahmeshwar Mukhiya was murdered in the early morning of June 1, 2012. The FIR related to his murder was registered in Nawada police station of Arrah. In the FIR registered, other serious criminal sections including murder, criminal conspiracy were imposed. The FIR was lodged by Indu Bhushan Singh, son of Barmeshwar Mukhiya. After about a year, on July 12, 2013, the investigation of this case was handed over to CBI. CBI is investigating this case since July 2013. It is noteworthy that earlier also CBI had interrogated Hulas Pandey.

After the name of former Legislative Councilor Hulas Pandey came up in the Brahmeshwar Mukhiya murder case, he presented his side on Sunday. In a phone conversation with BollywoodWallah, he said that he has not yet received any official information about the CBI charge sheet. He has been getting the news of the charge sheet only through the media. I neither had any relation with Brahmeshwar Mukhiya nor was I ever his opponent. In such a situation, this allegation is completely wrong. He said that whenever elections come, my opponents conspire to humiliate me. It seems that someone has misled the investigating agency.

After the Brahmeshwar Mukhiya murder case, politics from Bihar to Delhi became heated. There were disturbances in other places of Bihar including Arrah, Patna, Aurangabad, Jehanabad and Gaya districts. In Ara, the frenzied mob had specifically targeted the government machinery. When Brahmeshwar Mukhiya reached the turn near his house, he was shot. Brahmeshwar Mukhiya died on the spot. His death had created a political uproar. The CBI investigation has been going on in this matter for a long time. In the initial phase, CBI’s hands were empty. CBI had also posted a poster and offered a reward to those giving clues.
