BollywoodWallah awarded Aparajita Samman to 21 women of the state who have brought laurels in various fields. Rajya Sabha MP Mahua Maji along with Minister Badal Patralekh and Basant Soren honored the women in a function organized on Thursday at Mayuri Auditorium of CMPDI. The guests inaugurated the program by lighting the lamp. The honored women have made notable contributions in the fields of science and technology, business, entrepreneurship, photography, social service, women’s upliftment, advocacy, management and education. Women looked happy after receiving the honor from the platform of BollywoodWallah and also expressed their gratitude towards BollywoodWallah.
Women of Jharkhand made them proud
On this occasion, State Roads cum Building Construction Minister Basant Soren said that the women of Jharkhand have made everyone proud by increasing the respect of the state in the country and the world. One feels proud of the talent of the mothers and sisters of the state. Women have broken the myth by coming out of the house. Today, women power is achieving every milestone which was earlier considered to be the domain of men. Crossing the threshold of their homes, women have worked shoulder to shoulder with men. - Prof. Dr. Mili Ghosh: She has made her mark in planetary science. She is a professor in the Department of Remote Sensing Engineering, BIT Mesra. Dr. Milli was given the responsibility of analytically studying the sensors used in Mars Mission and Chandrayaan-2.
- Shanti Lakra: She was earlier a domestic worker. Then she drove a pink auto and today she is driving a dumper in Mumbai. There are dumper operators in the mines of Odisha. Like men, they are driving heavy dumpers in the mines.
- Kanika Malhotra: She has made her mark in the field of business. Runs HR consultancy. The special thing about their company is that all their staff are only women. First started working as an HR free lancer. His team includes eight women.
- Ritwija Diti: Bollywood singer. Sings all types of songs. Formed my own band. She is spreading the magic of her voice with her band in the country and abroad. She has been a national winner in the Inter DPS Music Competition.
- Geeta Mahato: She is a blind female cricketer and a player of the Indian Women’s Blind Cricket Team. Despite being blind, his game is amazing. She has been playing cricket at the national level since the beginning.
- Sunita Devi: In those days, there were no toilets in various villages including Sunita Devi’s in-laws house in Bhagat Tola of Latehar district of Jharkhand. Sunita became the first ‘Rani Mistry’ of the district. After becoming Rani Mistry, she trained the women of the women’s group of the village and made all of them Rani Mistry.
- Sunita Lakra: She is a social activist. She has been working on the ground for the rights of tribals and Dalits for the last 15 years. Apart from Jharkhand, efforts are being made to provide the tribal community their rights in Madhya Pradesh, Chhattisgarh and Uttar Pradesh as well as in the southern states.
- Mahika Chaudhary: She is a professional photographer. The pictures taken by them promoting the companies’ products are seen displayed on huge hoardings in cities across the country.
- Asha Kiran Barla: Asha Kiran Barla, resident of Nawadih village of Kamdara block of Gumla, is an international level athlete. Asha won the gold medal in the South Asian Games in 2022. After this he was selected for the Senior India Athletics Camp.
- Sushma Kerketta: Sushma Kerketta, head of Koleng Panchayat of Palkot block of Gumla district, made her panchayat child marriage free. She is running a campaign against child marriage.
- Indu Toppo: Indu of Chainpur block of Gumla district was once troubled by poverty and taunts at home and used to work as a labourer. Now she is leading the village organization. She is working against domestic violence by traveling on a bicycle. Started his own business by joining JSPLS.
- Jyoti Kumari, Entrepreneur: Along with doing MBA, LLB, Jyoti Kumari has also done fashion designing. She is currently working as Treasurer in Jharkhand Chamber. In the 2023 Jharkhand Chamber elections, he got the first position by getting the highest number of votes.
- Dr. Khushboo Rani, Assistant Professor, RIMS Surgery Department: Dr. Khushboo is working in the Surgery Department of RIMS. He has obtained MBBS degree from Wardha Medical College. From there he completed his studies in Master of Surgery. Presently she is serving as Assistant Professor in the Surgery Department of RIMS.
- Aruna Tirkey: Aruna is promoting Jharkhandi food. Runs a restaurant of Jharkhandi cuisine in Ranchi. She is engaged in giving recognition to Jharkhandi cuisine on the world stage.
- Jyoti Sahu: Sings Nagpuri songs. She has also been a participant and city judge of Sur Sangram. Apart from Nagpuri, she is singing songs in languages like Bhojpuri and Khortha etc.
- Dr. Sneha Pandey: Associate Professor and Dean of the Department of Biotechnology, RKDF University, Ranchi. Tree ambulance service is being provided by RKDF University in Jharkhand. Which is being run by Mrs. Pandey and is contributing in curing the diseases of trees.
- Khushboo Kataruka – Advocate of Jharkhand High Court. Along with advocacy, Khushboo works on social issues. Especially raises issues of environment and civic amenities.
- Gayatri Singh- Gayatri Singh is an educationist and social worker. Gayatri has founded ‘Pestalozzi Children’s Education Society’ in Ranchi, where she focuses on providing primary secondary level education. Empowerment of girls is the main objective.
- Sabila Khatoon – is learning new techniques to improve the economic condition of the house and progress in the field of good weaving.
- Rinku Chaudhary – Rinku has worked to create awareness in the society regarding insurance. It has played an important role in protecting families from financial uncertainties. Have worked with over 350 insurance professionals.
- Madhuri Yadav – Mother is the CEO of Ram Pyari Superspeciality Hospital. Constantly active in the field of health care. His academic career has been very excellent. She has been a bright student since the beginning. Handling the operation of the hospital. While running the hospital successfully, she built three more hospitals, which is a symbol of efficient management and women power.
