Mandar Mahotsav 2024: Mandar Mahotsav has started in Banka, Bihar. The three-day festival started on 14 January. It will run till January 16. Minister in-charge Shahnawaz Assam had inaugurated it. After this, Bollywood artists have participated in it. Many artists including Chinese playback singer Madhushree Bhattacharya participated in it. He also performed. Local people became part of the procession. Good preparations were also made for this. The Lord was taken out of the sanctum sanctorum by the pundits and taken to the Garuda chariot. He was specially worshiped here. After this the journey started. This year, five types of tableaux were taken out in the Yatra. It remained the center of attraction among the people. Strong security arrangements have also been made here.

About one hundred artisans have prepared it. Sitting arrangements have been made here for about 1500 people. There is a deluxe toilet in the fair. It has also been cleaned. Apart from this, a temporary toilet has been constructed by the PHED department. Games and shows have also been organized in the fair. NDRF team has also been deployed here. Strict security arrangements have also been made at Papaharani Sarovar. Following the DM’s order, the stairs have also been painted.
