Bokaro: Car fell into ten feet deep pit, driver died

Rakesh Verma, Nawadih (Bokaro): Azharuddin Ansari, 40, a resident of Siwandih of Marafari police station area, suffered serious head injury when the car became unbalanced and fell into a ten feet deep pit at 2 o’clock on Saturday night in Bagjobra main road of Nawadih Phusro main road of the police station area. He died on the spot due to injury. As soon as information about the incident was received, ASI Dhirendra Dev Manishi and Devashish Sharma of Nawadih police station arrived with their team and with the help of local villagers, took out the body and confiscated the vehicle. As soon as the information about the incident was received, on Sunday morning the family members of the deceased, wife Rehna Khatoon, son Mohammad Khalid and daughter Miskat, reached Nawadih CHC, where everyone was crying and in bad condition.

The deceased had gone to Dumri Bagodar to attend a friend’s wedding ceremony.

Regarding the incident, family members said that the deceased Azharuddin had gone to Dumri Bagodar to attend the wedding ceremony of one of his friends. Late at night, he was returning back to Siwandih in his Dezire car number JH10 AP 5445, when at around 2 o’clock in the night, When he reached near Bagjobra Golai of Nawadih police station area, the vehicle became unbalanced and fell about ten feet into a pit and overturned, due to which he suffered a deep injury on his head and died on the spot.
