Dead body found with neck slit
Meanwhile, on Saturday morning, his body was found in Korari Khadha of Belchhi police station area. The girl was identified by her maternal grandmother’s family. The girl was killed by slitting her neck with a sharp weapon. After this, the body was loaded into the vehicle and thrown at a deserted place on Friday night. After seeing the dead body on Saturday morning, the villager informed the police. After recovering the body, the police started investigation. The post-mortem of the dead body was done in the sub-divisional hospital.
Identified after the photo went viral
After the photo of the dead body went viral on social media, it was identified by a resident of Ekdanga village. After identifying the dead body, the girl’s maternal uncle informed the police about it. The girl’s parents work as laborers in Delhi. Whereas the boy’s family members are also working in Delhi. After the girl’s disappearance, the family members searched, but no trace of her could be found.

Police investigating the case
In this regard, the police said that after conducting the Panchayat, a few days ago, information was received that the girl was handed over to her family by the boy’s family. Information about conducting Panchayat has also been received. At present, the process has been started to find out the reasons behind the murder and taking action against the accused involved in it.
