BJP’s Nandkishore Yadav will become the new Speaker of Bihar Assembly, will file nomination on this day

The NDA government under the leadership of Nitish Kumar has won the trust vote in the Bihar Assembly on Monday. 129 MLAs voted in favor of the trust vote, while zero votes were cast in opposition. Earlier, the proposal to remove the current Assembly Speaker Avadh Bihari Chaudhary from the post was passed with majority. The no-confidence motion against the current speaker was brought by BJP’s Nand Kishore Yadav and HAM’s Jitan Ram Manjhi. In whose favor 125 votes were cast. Whereas 112 votes came against it. After which now the chair of Bihar Assembly Speaker is vacant. According to the information, BJP MLA Nand Kishore Yadav can now be the new Speaker of Bihar Assembly. For this he will file nomination at 10:30 am on Tuesday.

BJP speaker again

This time also in the NDA government, BJP has got the post of Bihar Assembly Speaker. Even in the previous tenure of NDA, BJP’s Vijay Kumar Sinha was the speaker. This time he has been made Deputy CM. This time it has been decided to make BJP MLA from Patna Sahib seat Nand Kishore Yadav the Speaker of Bihar Assembly.

Nandkishore Yadav is a resident of Patna.

Born on 26 August 1953, Nand Kishore Yadav’s father’s name is Late Panna Lal Yadav and mother’s name is Late Rajkumari Yadav. Nand Kishore’s ancestral home was in Golakpur (Mahendru) in Patna, where the hostel of Patna Law College is situated today. Nand Kishore Yadav had become active in politics since his student days. He was associated with Akhil Bharatiya Vidyarthi Parishad.

Has won assembly elections from Patna Sahib 7 times

Nandkishore Yadav’s political journey started by being elected as councilor of Patna Municipal Corporation. He has won the MLA election from Patna Sahib area 7 times in a row. He has held the department of Road Construction Minister in Bihar Government for a long time. Nand Kishore Yadav has also been Health Minister and Tourism Minister. Apart from this, he has also played the role of Leader of Opposition in the House. He has also been the state president of BJP. He has also contributed on other posts in Bihar.

Won elections for the first time in 1978

Nandkishore Yadav won the election of Patna Municipal Corporation councilor for the first time in 1978. After this, in 1982 he was elected Deputy Mayor of Patna. In 1983, he was made the Patna Metropolitan President and in 1990 he became the State President of BJP’s Yuva Morcha. In the year 1995, Nandkishore Yadav contested the assembly elections from the eastern region of Patna and was elected MLA.
