Biporjoy cyclone tracker: The weather is going to change rapidly in the next 24 hours, whose partial effect can also be seen in Bihar, Jharkhand, Bengal, Uttar Pradesh. In fact, the India Meteorological Department (IMD) has expressed the possibility of cyclonic storm ‘Biparjoy’ intensifying further in the next 24 hours. This cyclonic storm will move rapidly towards the northeast. The IMD said in a tweet that the cyclonic storm Biporjoy over the east-central Arabian Sea will become more severe. The department has expressed the possibility of moving north-eastwards during the next 24 hours. Due to this, there is a possibility of getting relief in those areas too, where people have been troubled by the heat these days.

Yellow alert has been issued in many districts of Kerala. People of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Pathanamthitta, Alappuzha, Kottayam, Idukki, Kozhikode and Kannur have been appealed to be vigilant. According to the Meteorological Department, due to the cyclone, very high waves can rise in the sea till June 10 in the coastal areas of Kerala, Karnataka, Maharashtra and Goa. Let us discuss here that ‘Biparjoy’ is the first cyclonic storm to hit the Arabian Sea this year, which has turned into a severe cyclonic storm.

Due to the cyclonic storm ‘Biparjoy’, the sky may remain cloudy in Bihar, Jharkhand, Bengal, UP as well. At present, no possibility of rain has been expressed in these areas. But, people can get relief from the scorching heat. Here, the sub-Himalayan districts of West Bengal are expected to get respite from the heat wave due to the possibility of advance of southwest monsoon. However, people in the southern districts of the state will probably continue to grapple with the scorching heat till June 13. The Meteorological Department has predicted heavy rains in the sub-Himalayan districts of West Bengal – Darjeeling, Kalimpong, Jalpaiguri, Coochbehar and Alipurduar and Sikkim till June 10 and then very heavy rains till June 13.
