Biparjoy caused heavy rains, flood-like situation in Rajasthan’s Barmer
The impact of cyclone Biparjoy is clearly visible in Barmer, Rajasthan. It rained heavily in the city. There has been severe water logging and flood like situation in the city.
Cyclone Biparjoy moving in the north-east direction
The Meteorological Department told that cyclone Biparjoy is moving towards the north-east direction. It intensified into a deep depression at midnight on 16 June. It entered Rajasthan through the areas around Jalore and Barmer. It has further weakened and has currently become a depression.
Cyclone Biparjoy weakens
After Gujarat, the effect of cyclone Biparjoy is now visible in Rajasthan. It is raining heavily in the state. According to the Meteorological Center, the cyclone has weakened.
