Commission changed the dates of PCS 2023 main exam

On the other hand, Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission has changed the dates of PCS 2023 main exam. Now this exam will be held from 26 September. The main examination of UP PCS was clashing with the dates of main examination of Union Public Service Commission. Many promising candidates from the state are appearing in both the examinations. Due to being on the same dates, there was compulsion with the candidates to skip any one examination. In this regard, many candidates had demanded change in their dates from the Uttar Pradesh Public Service Commission.

This has been happening before as well. It was expected that the change in the date of UP PCS exam would be announced soon. In the notice issued by the commission on Thursday, it was made clear that the examinations will now start from 26 September instead of 23 as the UPSC examinations will end on 24 September. The candidates have heaved a sigh of relief with this decision of the commission. Currently the registration process for PCS Mains 2023 is going on. Candidates can register by visiting the official website uppsc.up.nic.in.

New lekhpal recruitment will come soon

The Uttar Pradesh Subordinate Service Selection Commission may soon issue an advertisement for the new recruitment of Lekhpal. The Revenue Council is preparing to prepare a proposal in this regard and send it to the commission. This recruitment will be on about 4500 posts. There are about 31 thousand posts of Lekhpal in the state, out of which more than 13 thousand are vacant. The old recruitment on eight thousand posts is expected to be completed by October-November this year.

After this, the commission will try to complete the process of new Lekhpal recruitment. The delay in the process of old recruitment has been a major reason behind the delay in new recruitment till now, while there was delay in sending the details of vacant posts to the Revenue Council from many mandals.
