Ranchi: Pioneer of Jharkhand movement Binod Bihari Mahato Today is Saturday (23 September)’s birth anniversary. His birth centenary was celebrated this year. On this occasion, Jharkhand Mukti Morcha remembered him by garlanding his photograph in Ranchi. JMM’s Central General Secretary Vinod Kumar Pandey paid tribute to Binod Babu at the party’s central office in Harmu. His struggles for Jharkhand were remembered. After this the pre-scheduled meeting of JMM started. In this, by holding a meeting with the party officials of Ramgarh and Latehar, he emphasized on the strength of the organization. He directed to take the government schemes to every person, so that the benefits of the schemes implemented by Hemant Soren government of Jharkhand can reach the last line of the society. He told the party officials that the government is running many welfare schemes to strengthen the common people. It should be our endeavor that more and more people get benefited from it. Let us tell you that on September 24, from 11 am, the extended meeting of East Singhbhum, West Singhbhum and Seraikela-Kharsawan District Committee will be organized at the party’s central office (camp) in Harmu, Ranchi.
Meeting with officials of Ramgarh and Latehar
Jharkhand Mukti Morcha (JMM) under the chairmanship of Central General Secretary Vinod Kumar Pandey, a meeting was held on Saturday at the party’s central office (camp) in Harmu, Ranchi. According to the pre-determined program, officials were present in the extended meeting of Ramgarh and Latehar District Committee (all members of the Central Committee under the district, all the officials of the District Committee and the District President and Secretary of the class organization) from 11.30 am.
Binod Bihari Mahato remembered on his birth anniversary
Tributes were paid to Binod Bihari Mahato, the pioneer of Jharkhand movement, on his birth anniversary. JMM leaders garlanded his photograph. After this his struggles for Jharkhand were remembered. After remembering Binod Babu on his birth anniversary, the pre-scheduled meeting of JMM was started.
Take government schemes to the masses
The strength of the organization in Ramgarh and Latehar districts was discussed with all the members attending the JMM meeting. Along with this, the work being done in the area by the District Committee was assessed. Not only this, all the present Jharkhand Mukti Morcha officials and members were given information about the schemes brought in the public interest by the Jharkhand government and were instructed to reach the schemes to the common people, so that the common people can get full benefits of the government schemes.
