Vidhannagar. A young man died in a bike accident in Bidhannagar Commissionerate area. The accident took place in Sarupol area of Rajarhat police station. The name of the deceased is Mohammad Afsan. His house is in Raigachi on Rajarhat Main Road. According to the police, Afsan was going towards Chinar Park on a motorcycle. He was also wearing a helmet. At the same time, a car going to Rajarhat hit the bike. Afsan fell on the divider on the road and got injured on his head. Within some time, blood started flowing from his head. Rajarhat Traffic Guard police admitted Afsan to a private hospital near Chinar Park. Doctors declared the young man dead. Police have seized the vehicle, however during this time the driver managed to escape.
