A mother and son riding a bike died after being hit by a truck on Saturday near Shaheed Sthan near Patna turn in Mohania town of Kaimur. However, after tireless efforts, people allowed the dead body to be taken away on the assurance of compensation and job to the relatives of the deceased. After this the jam was removed and the movement of vehicles started.

On the diversion of NH 2, near Shaheed Sthan, a truck coming from behind hit them, due to which the husband, wife and son fell on the road. After this the truck drove away, crushing all three. During this time, the wife and son died on the spot and one leg of the husband was completely damaged.

People created a ruckus

As soon as the people nearby came to know about the accident, angry people reached the spot and started creating ruckus. First of all, the road was blocked by placing barriers on the diversion on both sides of NH 2. After this they started vandalizing the accident truck. As soon as the police started taking the truck driver away. Meanwhile, people became angry and snatched the driver from the police and started beating him fiercely. Seeing this, with the tireless efforts of the people and the police officer, he was taken out from among the people and taken to the police station. But when people did not calm down, they set the truck on fire.

A worker engaged in road construction was also beaten up

Here, a video was being made by a worker engaged in road construction, seeing which people got angry and beat him fiercely. He was somehow removed from the public and sent to the sub-divisional hospital for treatment. But, seeing the serious situation, he was sent to Bhabhua Sadar Hospital. The injured worker is said to be Radhan Ram, son of village resident lawyer Ram.

There was a jam at around 2.30 pm and the jam was cleared at around 5.30 pm, only then the movement of vehicles started. People said that NHAI should immediately construct drain and road, give compensation to the deceased and give a job to the family of the deceased. Here, under the provision, the family of the deceased was immediately given financial assistance of Rs 20,000 each by the BDO. The jam was removed on the assurance of meeting the demand.
