New Delhi : The partnership between TVS Motor Company and BMW Motorrad for 310 cc motorcycles has been quite successful in the Indian bike market. BMW Motorrad sells the G 310 RR, G 310 R and G 310 GS, while TVS has only the Apache RR 310. Now, TVS is going to launch a new motorcycle, which is expected to be launched in the bike market on September 6, 2023 in the form of Apache RTR 310. The biggest thing is that the booking of TVS Apache RTR 310 to be launched in the bike market has already started. You can book it for a token money of only Rs 3100. TVS Apache RTR 310: Design

TVS Apache RR 310 has been designed as a fully faired sport bike. Along with this, Apache RTR 310 will be an aggressive naked streetfighter. From some angles it might even remind one of the Ducati Streetfighter V4. In the teaser video released by the company, the Apache RTR 310 looks compact but muscular due to its fuel tank and wide headlamp with split design. The tail section is quite sharp and the rider seat is expected to be spacious.

TVS Apache RTR 310: Powertrain

The engine of the Apache RTR 310 will be shared with the Apache RR 310 and other BMW 310 models. It is a 312.2 cc, single-cylinder, liquid-cooled motor, which generates 33.5 bhp at 9,700 rpm and 27.3 Nm of torque at 7,700 rpm. It is expected that TVS will work on the engine to improve its refinement and may even change its tune.

TVS Apache RTR 310: Hardware

The teaser released by the company has revealed that TVS will use up-side down forks at the front and monoshock at the rear. The main frame is expected to be shared with the Apache RR 310, while the up-frame will be different. Braking will be done by front and rear discs. Dual-channel ABS will also be on offer.

The motorcycle will feature all-LED lighting, a new horizontal instrument cluster, which is expected to be a TFT unit and will also support TVS’ Bluetooth-connected technology. It will also have ride mode, slipper clutch and ride-by-wire.

BMW Motorrad G 310 RR

BMW Motorrad introduced the new sports bike BMW G 310 RR in the Indian bike market in July 2022. BMW G 310 RR has a 312.12 cc water-cooled single cylinder 4 valve engine, which generates 34 PS power and 27.3 Newton meter torque. This bike has BMW Motorrad ABS and single disc front brake. Talking about the top speed of this affordable sports bike of BMW, it can be driven at a speed of 160 kilometers per hour in track and sport mode. At the same time, the top speed of BMW G 310 RR in rain and urban mode is up to 125 kilometers per hour.
