Which is 10% more than the year 2022-23. If seen from this perspective, if there is a 10% increase in the budget size, it can increase to around Rs 2.88 lakh crore. If there is an increase of 15% then it is likely to increase to Rs 3.0 lakh crore. Next year also the expenditure on establishment and committed items will be more than the plan expenditure. The expenditure on this item in the year 2023-24 is Rs 1.60 lakh crore, which may increase to Rs 1.80 lakh crore in the year 2024-25.

In the current financial year 2023-24, the highest budgetary allocation for the Education Department has been made at Rs 40450 crore, which is 15.45% of the total budget.
